Peterson Prize Project (Whitefield Chapel)
Worked on documenting the entire chapel on the grounds of Bethesda School for boys in Savannah, GA, with the goal of creating a full set of HABS standard drawings to enter in the Peterson Prize Contest. My main contribution was to do AutoCAD drawings of small details within the chapel and the large stained glass window in back.
Harden House Project
The Harden House is located at 233 East Gwinnett Street in Savannah, and work was done as part of two different classes. One was documenting the structure, to create a complete set of HABS drawings. My contribution focused on the second floors and various important details.
The next class was a hands on work on the structure itself. My main project involved stripping 5 layers of paint off of the front hall fireplace, sanding it down and refinishing it.
Cemetery Documentation
As part of class and extracurricular activities, complete documentation was done of the John Walz statues in Bonaventure cemetery. It was requested by the staff of the cemetery for Smithsonian national records. We also collaborated with the Heritage Library on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina to do a full survey of the Zion Chapel of Ease Cemetery, focusing primarily on the Baynard Mausoleum. We did a full conditions assessment of the Mausoleum in preparation for restoring the structure
